Happy September!! This is the day I personally deem acceptable to decorate for fall LOL. So I may have started the morning digging out my painted gingham pumpkins and working on a few more to add to the collection… 🤪🎃🍂 I felt a little ambitious with all the fall excitement and made my own take on Sweetgreen’s Harvest Warm Bowl for lunch. Pizza Night! Gluten Free Pizza AND Cheese Sticks!

We ate our veggies in a fun way tonight - snuck into our pizza and cheese sticks! That’s right. Gluten free pizza AND cheese sticks for this wild Saturday night in! I absolutely love the Caulipower pizza crusts (made from cauliflower) for an awesome gluten free alternative. We kept it simple with pepperoni as our topping (Penny approved) and paired it with recipe I was super excited to try out - Zucchini Cheese Sticks! These gluten free wonders were delicious and required very few ingredients! They were made even easier with the help of a new gadget I can’t wait to tell you about!

We had a very chill weekend celebrating my birthday, just hanging out around the apartment. We cooked risotto and steak, I beat Darrell in 3/3 rounds of Sequence, and we stayed up late to catch the latest episode of Big Brother! I whipped up this incredible appetizer in place of a birthday cake for my special treat and it was sheer perfection!

Strawberry Slaw

Quick post tonight! We tried a recipe for Strawberry Slaw this evening and LOVED it! Glad we have leftovers because I’m excited to eat it again tomorrow as part of my lunch!! I love finding cooler side dishes for summer nights and this one is perfect! It’s relatively quick (especially with a few shortcuts) and requires simple ingredients.
